Who uses X2O?

X2O is for any developer who wants to build a database-driven Flash, Flex, or JavaScript application. There's no server-side programming. Front-end developers can build read/write apps without help from middleware and database developers.

What tools do you need to get started?

X2O is web-based, so there's no installation. Just sign up, login to your account, and start data modeling. All of your data services are hosted remotely and integrated into your generated code. All you need to do is use them.

What client technologies are currently supported?

X2O supports ActionScript 3.0 (for Flex and Flash CS4) and JavaScript. Generated AS3 code is compiled as a SWC file and JavaScript code is packaged in a ZIP file.

What types of applications can you build with X2O?
